The #BigNewsky launch was a fun filled extravaganza with Chef Saby (Sabyasachi Gorai) ( To know about Chef Saby check out – http://chefsaby.com/) enthralling us with a cook out and dishing out some of the signature dishes that will be part of the new menu !
It was great to interact with him and gather his views on how food is evolving, the varying taste buds of people and on the concept of modern fusion cooking. Chef Saby instantly connected both with his live cooking and a hilarious interaction !
Adding dazzle to Chef Saby’s cooking was Karthik, the expert mixologist who ensured everyone was absolutely high ! Free flowing alcohol and refreshing unique cocktails was the order of the day.
Ambience is perfect to the T. The fish pond like setup bang in the centre with different levels and style of seating is a bliss. By evening, the place turns into a mesmerizing party zone with all the wonderful lighting, the music and the dancing around.

Mushroom Shoe Roll – Goodness in every bite ! Choux pastry dumplings were delicious !
African Suya Kebab – Paneer and Chicken : Peanut crusted with all the spices gave it a nice crunch while retaining the flavour of the main ingredient
Apple and Sundried Tomato Salad
Black Rice Mushroom Risotto – Tasted Black rice for the first time and pretty impressed. Going to try out more stuff with this one.

Italian Arrabbiata : Excellent tomato sauce, well cooked pasta will leave one craving for more ! Not too heavy on the palate too.

Churro with chocolate dipping sauce – The Pic did not come that well but not the same for the taste. Let it soak in the chocolate and grab to experience the real taste !
