I had the pleasure of seeing the Jersey Boys show last night with my sister at the Muny in St. Louis. Neither one of us had seen the show or knew much about it. It is about Franki Valli and the Four Seasons. It was a hot show, we felt like we never really felt cooled off. Once in awhile you feel a breeze. They did pass out paper fans which did help. It was a fun, informative and upbeat show to watch. I would say the show is probably for the older generations. There were songs that we knew and some we did not know. One of favorite songs performed was Oh What a night, which was done a few times. The dancing was great to watch. Parental warning; if you take kids there is some cuss words.
“Made Me Smile” with the Music
The Muny is well know in the St. Louis area for it’s outdoor theatre. This year is the 100th Birthday of the Muny having shows there. Each there they outdo themselves with great shows and performances.
Have you been to the Muny? What was your favorite show through the years?
