Love

Love where are you? Here or not.  I see you all the time. Just maybe in different ways.

People show love in many different ways.  One cannot compare that love is a certain way from one couple to the next couple. Each person can show it different ways.  What is love to you?

I asked this question to a friend recently, how her boyfriend shows her that he loves her.  She came back with the answers that he puts a roof over my head, pays bills and likes her butt.  I asked if she liked those answers and I don’t think I got a response back.  I don’t know if that is love maybe it is to her.  Anyone can be a bill or let you stay in their house or apartment.

Love can show many ways in each couple.  Not one thing could be wrong from one person to another.  As long as you believe it is love.

Having special alone time without the children

Hand holding

Hand on the leg

Cuddling while watching television

Letting you pick what to watch on television

Going out to eat to celebrate an occasion and letting you choose where to go

Bringing home a soda or some candy for me without me asking him

Saying you appreciate the meal the other made for dinner

Now think about your spouse or significant other shows how they love you.  How do you show to them that you love them?  Maybe you need to find more ways to show your love to the special one in your life. So I challenge you, find a new way to show your love today or tomorrow.  Love is a treasured thing.  We don’t want to throw it way.  Show your love to those that you love. Don’t be afraid of your love for them.   Say I love You each day to your spouse.
