We all know what their secret is, they cater to feelings of happiness, relaxation, friendship etc.  They take our minds off of the other potential issues associated with soft drinks.

Their marketing is really focused on personalization; An example is the “Share a Coke” campaign.  This venture started in Australia and spread throughout 50 countries.

So, what can we learn from Coca-Cola when it comes to building a successful global brand? Making human connections, remaining innovative while staying true to simple principles. Add the fact that they have created a manual for marketing that has contributed to Coca-Cola’s place as an industry leader, even after 125 years.
