She may not be the most prolific of musical artists but she has had a profound impact on the scene. This is further evidenced by the plethora of other artists who cite her as being among their influences. Kate is also known to support human rights causes such as Amnesty International & Witness. I have to admit that it’s not just her music that’s had an impact on me, but also from her sophisticated to her more unusual style choices.
There really is a lot of style inspiration to draw from with this particular icon. I chose to shop around for today’s wishlist at Target as it tends to be generally accessible in most places within the US (but it’s also a good example of finding nice things for a bargain). I believe I mostly worked with earrings, but I also found some interesting necklaces & as per usual I took some creative license with items that reminded me of her.
