Veteran Bollywood actress Rita Bhaduri passed away due to kidney ailment.
First Taarak Mehta Ka OolthaChashma’sDr. Hansraj Haathi and now Nimki Mukhiya’s Daadi are no more. Veteran film and television Actress Rita Bhaduri breathed her last on Tuesday morning in Mumbai.
Actor Shishir Sharma confirmed the news of Rita’s demise on Twitter: “We deeply regret to inform you that ReetaBhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on 17th July, Tuesday 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma…”
The actress was admitted in a hospital from the past 10 days or so due to her ill health.

As per reports, Rita Bhaduri’s mortal remains were taken to her brother Barun Mukherjee’s home for final viewing so that her family and friends could pay their respects. Talking to Spotboye about her aunt Rita, her niece Mini stated, “Ritaji had developed several complications. Her kidneys had failed since some time and more recently, she had a spine surgery done. After that, she developed many complications and her other internal organs started deteriorating. The last one month was tough.”
Rita Bhaduri’s funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon. Among her family and close friends, members of television and film fraternity were at the funeral. Rita’s ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ co-star Satish Shah and ‘Raazi’ actor Shishir Sharma were also present at the funeral.

Rita Bhaduri has been a part of popular television serials such as ‘Kumkum’, ‘Khichdi’ and ‘Choti Bahu’. As for movies, Rita has predominantly acted in Guajarati movies but she has been a part of popular Hindi movies such as ‘Phoolan Devi’ and ‘Virasat’.
