Yay! A shopping Review. We haven’t done one of these in a while We wanted to share with everyone our experience ordering with Misstales, and what we did order from them. They reached out to us with a 40% off coupon a few weeks ago and we took advantage of that!

Misstales is promoting itself to be a “shoppable storybook”. They offer a look from head-to-toe of each “miss” they’re promoting. Right now, their aesthetic is more of a Harajuku/cute/gothic Japanese trend. If you’re into that style of fashion, their stuff is worth checking out. We thought that the vibe of their site was pretty cool – but then again, it is a new store that just launched! We didn’t know what we would get.
So we began an order cautiously. We just want to say that the shipping and delivery method was kind of messy. Some of the items came separately, and one item took 2 weeks. However, customer service with Misstales is good, so that it made up for it. They respond really fast on email & through their Facebook.
We like the things that we did receive! Buying from a shop you’ve never purchased from online before can be nerve-wracking, but we managed to make it through. Well, for most of it anyways
CROOKED DEVIL MINI SKIRT
The Skirt itself is kind of tight and form fitting, and limited on the sized, but it looks like the photo and it fit me fairly well. A note to other girls – it may run a bit small so be careful when selecting your size!
CHECKERED PAST A-LINE SKORT
Again, the skirt was tight but it was definitely one of our favorites! We can’t get enough of the checkered pattern and the zip up front. We would get this again – if only in a bigger size.
Last but not least…
THE ETERNAL PESSIMIST HOODIE
The only hoodie we got – since it’s winter over here, is really accurate in size. Fits well, it’s really soft and comfortable. We like the detail of the rose accent and the highlight of the words strewn on the arm sleeves. The only complaint is that it took a bit long (2 weeks). Otherwise than that – we got everything we ordered no problem.
Overall –
We think it’s worth trying it out. We love the aesthetic, the customer service is 9/10, but shipping is definitely something they need to work on. Don’t order if you need something immediately! But we’re really excited to see what their second chapter will be.
