Our Road Trip we decided to do a road trip to Kanab in Utah. I have never been to this city before and I wanted to see if what the Coral Sand Dunes looked like and I've never been to any sand dunes in Utah before. In Kanab you can see from the photo's we went all over the place. Kanab is about a 4 hour drive from Salt Lake City. So if you are around here then its a easy drive, kind of boring, but hey super easy road trip. We wanted to rent ATV's at the sand dunes, but apparently it was mother's days when we went and everything was booked. So I think go on a non holiday weekend. I didn't think mother's day would be like that but it was. Also, lots of the rentals aren't available on Sundays. So I would suggest planning accordingly to a weekend and maybe do it on a Friday or Saturday.
When you are in Kanab, you will see a place called Parry's Lodge which is a beautiful hotel, they have many options and the best thing is that actual actors have stayed there. We never stayed at this hotel, but from reviews and from being around it, it's beautiful and they have a cute pool too. The doors at the hotel rooms have the names of who stayed there and where, which is awesome. This whole town is all about celebrities and where things have been taken in this city. It's crazy to think that celebrities did stuff in a random small town.
This town is very rustic and southern if you want to say that. It's a cute town, I didn't think it would have as much as it does, its a very lively town too. So if your planning your trip to southern Utah, you can find so many next to Kanab such as: Zions National Park,The Wave, The Staircase, Bryce canyon and more!
