It’s become ingrained in our Aussie culture and has no doubt saved countless lives through its informative alliteration. But did you know that there is now an updated version? Say hello to “Slip-Slop-Slap-Seek and Slide”! Seeking shade and sliding on sunglasses are the 2 nouveau ways to be sunsmart. Although I’ve been seeking and sliding for years, I’m yet to master this new catchphrase.

I got this Panama hat from the Cancer Council at this event. Wide-brimmed, light-weight, and perennially classic, it’s become my new BFF this summer. I’m considering naming it ‘Sandy’.
