One of the favorite things i always have whenever i have whether im walking in the mall shopping , relaxing at home or taking a break from my usual routines is having a good Drink . I often get more thirsty than hungry so a handy and yummy drink is a must .
While i was walking along the promenade in greenhills , i was planning to get myself a cup of coffee at starbucks when i remembered one of my acquaintances telling me that theres this new place that serves really new drinks at the promenade. The store is called Happy Lemon which originated in Hong Kong . It is conveniently located right beside the coffee shop so i opted to get my drink there instead.
The shops facade was not hard to miss , it was decorated with a very bright yellow sign with the signature happy lemon Face logo and outside are beautifully coordinated white and red chairs and table set that additionally sets attraction due tot he color choices . The signage with the vibrant colors of yellow, brown and black felt like i was gonna enter a really cute amusement park or toy store .
Once you get in , you will be greeted by a very friendly staff . the interior is very well decorated and thought off , nothing too over the top just basic minimalist colors of some what seems to be really well chose and comfortable interiors and seats.
The inside was quite cozy and the seats are very comfortable you could either choose to sit down on their cute cup styled swivel chairs or sit on the cozy bench with the wooden circles to enjoy the view of passersby or the the entrance of the promenade mall
At first i was skeptic thinkingthis would be another smoothie or shake store with beautiful interiors. But what i was really itching to know was does the drinks taste good or is it just another fad with a beautifully designed outlet to attract customers.
So the next question was , were the drinks any good??? or is this another fad that had a beautifully designed outlet to attract customers??? This time i was ready i came to this place with a prior knwledge of what drinks would be nice to try . But what really caught my attention and because of the good words i heard from an acquaintance I have decided to try the Rock Salt and cheese series??? I know what going on in your mind and yes you read it right "rock salt and cheese" on drinks?? Crazy??? thats what i thought .
So for my first order i had a green tea with rock salt and cheese drink . The drinks are reasonably priced and it came price as Php 99-100 .
Now here is the good part , when you have this drink dont use a straw . Because if you did you will miss the rock salt and cheese flavor, you would think it would taste really really salty or yucky but i actually enjoyed my first cup. The flavor of rock salt and cheese blended with the green tea tasted like i was drinking the nectar of a really delicious flower . It smelled really good too . I loved my first cup that i decided to get another one . this time i tried the other variations of rock salt and cheese. Although they had others drinks on their menu this series is the one that really caught my taste bud, other drinks seemed usual to me just by name recall but i have yet to try them out in my return
I think this was chocolate with rock salt and cheese and same as green tea the rock salt and cheese twist made the whole taste a different kind of experience on drinks. Although i enjoyed the delicious flower aroma from Green Tea with rock salt and cheese better.
IN general Happy Lemon is a nice place to relax and hang out with your friends and share some refreshments while taking a break from looking at bargains in Viramall or while having a snack prior or after watching a movie at the promenade.
Happy Lemon is located at the ground floor of the Promenade in greenhills situated beside the Starbuck Coffee shop . The outlet is hard to miss just look for the signature Happy Lemon Face Logo :D
