Nail art: Holiday stamping with Avon Gel Finish in Envy and Glimmer

This week’s holiday nail art is once again all about Avon Gel Finish polishes, this time in green and gold.

Wait, there’s no nail art there. That’s right. Let’s start with just the green this time. This is 2 coats of Avon Gel Finish in Envy.

This is a dark green polish that seems to have a black base. It is a metallic, which means you have to be careful to prevent streak marks, but it’s a classy and stylish shade.

Ah, here’s the nail art. I started with the dark green base, and then added some stamped gold accents.

My stamped components were done using Avon Gel Finish in Glimmer and Bundle Monster stamping plates in BM-321 and BM-225. I did one stamped image per nail, and alternated between trees and ornaments.

The gold polish stamped well here, and showed up stronger than I expected.

These stamps really show off the texture of the gold polish. It’s filled with tiny micro glitter in a lighter gold base. It matches well with the green polish.

I am quite happy with how this look turned out. It’s subtle and dark, yet still holiday appropriate.
