Long Kurti: The Ethnic Gown Dressing

I love experimenting with different types of clothes and apparel. I realized that my love and commitment for long Kurti is something profound in nature. My newfound love for easy going ethnic wear and Indian dresses is surely going to introduce new variants to my already experimental wardrobe.

Today, I am going to talk about the ethnic dress that I brought through Myntra. Kurti’s online make it quite difficult for me to choose a single one to purchase. I mean, my wish list is quite vast to begin with! It was a definite win-win situation for me because I made quite the grab with this piece of apparel. This piece of clothing is more like a designer long kurti. Such that it gives the resemblance of an Ethnic Gown.

Outfit Details:

The colour of the long kurti is black and it has an print work of gold. It meets my expectations as the colour combination is the perfect balance of something smooth and sexy. The dress looks effortless to wear and pair with. Also, it has the latest kurti design with an open shoulder aka cold-shoulder neckline which makes it quite the summer special dress for me. The kurta neck design gives me the requisite breathing space to go for such an ensemble in summer.

Styling tip:

When you think about accessorizing your clothes you need to balance it out. If your outfit is a heavy one be it in embroidery design or fanciness then you must go light with your accessory. They both must balance as well as complement each other. On the other hand, if you are wearing let’s say a simple black kurta then you can go with heavy silver jewellery or some boho-chic jewellery so that your accessories stand out.

Here with my ethnic wear I decided to go minimal with both my makeup as well as accessorizing. I’d suggest one to go with ornamental gold jewellery, the dainty types to bring out the best in this type of clothing.

This summer season I have personally witnessed that the designing game has taken quite the drastic turn and the number of options available through both online as well as offline shopping. Let’s make the best of it. The goal is to make the most of our money and time spent on finding THE dress, let’s make it worth the effort.
