Who Wore What at Cannes 2017 - Indian Actresses at Cannes 2017

Cannes Film  festival 2017 at the French Rivera was exquisite as always with big actor making their appearances in haute couture or say classic fashion of all time.

Indian Film Industry has been present for the festival to present it's films and for the Beauty brand L'Oreal from which Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been making her appearance since 10 years now. Though we all have to agree that Cannes is about appreciation to the film industry but all the red carpet just makes it look like a big huge fashion show hosted for best dressed.

7 Glamorous Indian actresses presenting India at Cannes Film Festival 2017

I have tried to mention the outfits from, but I cannot be too precise by their day 1 look or day 2, while I do know that Deepika Padukone walked on Day 1 and 2 of the festival, Aishwarya Rai appeared for day 3 and 4 on the red carpet and Sonam Kapoor walked for Day 5 and 6 and this was only for the Beauty Brand L'Oreal as they are the Ambassadors.

Along with that proud Indian actresses who presented Movies they appeared in like Nandita Das for Manto and Mr. Nawazuddin Siddiqui walked side by side, Ammy Jackson for her English movie Boogie Man and Shruti Hassan  for her South Indian  Film Sangamithra.

Deepika Padukone at Cannes Film Festival 2017

It was her debut and we loved her enjoying around the French Rivera, her Instagram told her story of excitement and joy. Her fashion went too well and we loved her new looks.

Deepika Padukone in Morning Interview at Cannes 2017. She looked extremely sexy and hot in this high bun look which went well with her superb satin dress.

Her Beach Look for Day 1, dressed in a Johanna Ortiz Maxi Gown in Red. The dress yelled all perfect summer and looked lovely with her complete loose tresses.

She looked like a dark fantasy, that's too much to say, she nailed it for her red carpet look in the dark wine Marchesa gown. Loved the way it added transparency in an shuttle and suitable way.

She was dressed later for a the red carpet Cannes event in a deep green Brandon Maxwell gown, which did well, But I did expect it to look more flawless, the high slit was charming and the back drape look marvellous but the front kind of cut out the excitement or say wasn't just head-ups. Though her makeup killed it all, the jewels, the hair the makeup, no ways she is getting off the best dressed at Cannes 2017.

For the day at Cannes, she was dressed in a Pink classy Balenciaga dress and it looked simply effortless on her.

Another beach day look she carried was this perfect summer yellow body hugging dress and the perfect stylised look. the body-hugging Solace London dress did charm us well like a beautiful sunrise.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes 2017

The lovely Princess is always a stunner when she comes to cannes, and yes this being her 10th year she nailed it just perfect and we have to agree, she is a beauty which is ageless. She chose haute couture as her favs and we have to agree her designer pick was amazing.

Aishwarya Rai Debut at Cannes 2017, day beach look was very playful and calling out a beach day, a deep green Yanina Couture which had some flower embroideries adding the taste of the destination.

Her Day look in that awesome princess fairy gown in cream and the floral embroidery made the best look out of her with loose tresses and a bold lip defining her beauty she looked like a queen for sure. The gown was designed by a Philippine designers Mark Bumgarner and Michael Cinco and yes they were her best choice i would say.

Her Avatar for the night was nothing different from the barbie life, say frozen princess or the snow queen appeared on the red carpet. The look of her Ice blue gown by same designers Mark Bumgarner and Michael Cinco was a dreamy reality of a princess.

We saw her don up a red gown which was in full layers and I didnt think it did much appeal that charming. Maybe the two other gowns left some deep impact on us and that made it look a bit lesser appreciable.

Her day look with the black gown by Ashi Studio also had much styled details to notice, a new silhouette with balanced slits and cut outs, though again didn't look ravishing on her, or say incomplete. The pin pleats were great and called out vintage or classic styles.

Sonam  Kapoor at Cannes 2017 Fashion Outfits

The most awaited Indian actress on the red carpet for Cannes has to be Sonam. She has also had a long journey with Cannes and has appeared for almost 7 years now and she knows exactly how to dress to kill her fans dead! She is a Fashion icon in India and say she is much admired for her fashion style around the world too.

Her debut was in non other than the Saree. Yes she once again chose to debut at cannes 2017 in a saree by the label NorBlack NorWhite and it was perfectly the right one to choose for the destination and the occasion.

Next her day beach looks were so inspiring and yelling fashionista that anyone couldn't rate a bit more lesser that 5 out of 5. Loved her look in the Indo saree look, she carried a Mint 3 piece pant style saree which was so pretty and marked the style updates for Indian fusion looks. Her head band hairstyle and jewellery marked an ace to her look, thanks to sister Stylist Rhea Kapoor. (Learn how to wear a pant style saree with a normal saree like Sonam Kapoor. Read it.)

Her other day look went from looking all stylish to super Desi but with a twist look, she chose a complete neo-indian look with a dhoti styled outfit and over wear by Anamika Khaana. The outfit did show the vibes of the beach look and Indian pride, with a little twist for fashion it's perfect for the occasion too. Sonam has always been a Fan of Anamika Khanna Outfits, See the her Review.

Now for her marvellous Red carpet looks, she looked stunning the light pink Elie Saab gown dress with the side sleeve drapes. She looked like a Royal princess on the aisle. Perfecting the styled look by minimising jewels as the dress was so embellished and a great choice, and Rhea styled her just well for a complete look.

The  next day she appeared in a Lusty Golden Royal princess look again, Gown by Elie Saab. She dripped of metallic charm and was dressed just up to toe in the best harmonising manner.

Another day beach dress we spotted her in was this pretty white maxi dress with a pretty tulle sleeve shrug or cape consisting of blue white embroidered to fit the charming day festive look.

Shruti Hassan at Cannes 2017

Shruti Hassan debuted for her Cannes Film festival appearance presenting her Movie Sangamithra with co-actors.

She looked good, but I must say her looks didn't quiet appear effective for the fashion standards we see at Cannes each year. her choice of black was a safe option but only that it wasn't too safe for her. She appeared in trench styled black jumpsuit outfit.

She was seen on the Red carpet with a Black gown by Avaro Figlio, which was a perfect fashion piece, just didn't make a wow image on her, she looked to bulgy and her messy hair too couldn't match her look completely.

Next she wore a Black Valentino Dress and this one was so charming, simplicity wins here. It was styled perfcet with straight hair and a cute jewel neck-piece. The dress did look flaunting on her and it was a better black to opt for.

Then she appeared for a Day beach look in a white outfit by Ankur Modi, it looked very pretty and impressive, a touch of Indian fusion and great way to charm the beach look. So the white did save her!

She than made her red carpet appearance again in a Black, this time it was a complete no no. She chose a Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani black saree which had ruffle pleats, but the blouse, wow, way too much of attention and embellished flower in a 3D spoilt it all for her.

Nandita Das at Cannes Film Festival 2017

You may have not remembered her, as she hasn't been active in the industry so much, but her performances are always remembered. She was here to present her movie Manto along with Nawazzudin Sidiqui.

She was seen donning the classy looks with saree, she chose a soft pink peach saree by Anavila and she kept her look pretty simple. She did make her point here to be able to come to Cannes for her performance appreciation and not fashion.

And she was seen again in a Golden saree in plain, a simple hair updo and traditional jhumkis looked very pretty on her dusky skin.

Amy Jackson at Cannes 2017

Amy Jackson appeared on the Red carpet for the Last day and she was presenting her English Movie - Boggie Man. we are proud of her too, being an Indian and working abroad for her skills and being able to present at Cannes is very prideful for India.

Her looks were quite classic and say more of the English fashion taste evolved in her outfits. She was seen dressed in a 2 piece white outfit or palazzo pants and a crop top. Loved her simple look for the day and she seemed to team gold statement jewels with it to bring up the vibes.

She was seen in a white dress in a body hugging look and tie ups by and a Sequined Gown by Versace. we definitely loved this look and she pulled it well.

She also chose a haute couture gown in white and golden embellishments for the red carpet event. She styled it with a high bun, neck piece and simple makeup.

Malika Sherawat at cannes 2017

Yes, she still appears at the Cannes Film Festival, and this time she really chose to dress wise. She chose a simple elegant white or beige dress gown in embroideries. It's off shoulder look was perfect and harmonising with it;s lower narrow flared bottom gown look.

So that's from all the Lovely Indian Actresses at Cannes 2017 who presented Indian with tremendous Fashion looks at the Festival.
