Henry London Automatic Collection

Henry London Announced Automatic collection

Two young designers started Henry London back in October 2015, the brand has quite a few different collections and ranges despite not being very old, each has a range of exciting colours and styles. Watch companies predominantly manufacture watches for the male market, however Henry London has a very impressive collection of ladies watches to equal out the brands target demographic.

The Henry London story is a well known one in the world of watchmaking. A vintage swiss watch was found in Portobello market, London. The watch case back featured an engraving of the word ‘Henry’ in a calligraphy style followed by ‘August 1965’ engraved on the back in a bolder typewriter style font. It is this which inspired the name Henry London and also why they offer a personalised engraving service.

Recently Henry London announced that they are releasing a new collection of Automatic watches for £199 which is a new price range expanding them out from their usual £100- £170 pricing bracket. The watches are going to be all automatics and will feature a cut-away in the dial that will expose the watches regulator and its mainspring. It will feature a Japanese Miyota 82S0 automatic movement housed within a 40-42mm case and will be available with both a steel bracelet and a genuine leather strap.

They also announced that they will be releasing a higher end model which will only be available in a 42mm case housing and will use a Japanese Miyota 82S7 Automatic movement that drives small second and GMT subdials. This will be released alongside a third model which will be a sportier model which has a stainless steel unibidirectional bezel all will be available to retailers soon from Peers Hardy. In the meantime you can view all the Henry London watches in our store here.
