Primark Beauty – is it worth it?

Hello! Now a subject everyone is curious of is Primark and their venture into the beauty world! They are selling everything these days from Pore Strips to nail varnish and I am curious myself to know what everything is like, so let’s get started.

First thing I wanted to get my hands on are the PS nose Pore strips, these were jut £1 for 4 strips!

BRILLIANT! These pull everything right out, I’ve used all sorts of brands when it comes to pore strips and these are by far the best, stomp all over Sephora Pore Strips! The only downfall is they do hurt to peel off and they leave a little white residue around you nose. However it does come straight off with water!

I have tested so many pore strips recently and these are the best by far.

Sili Sponge, something that everyone is raving about at the moment so for £2 I had to test it out! Used it today for the first time with my foundation. I think these are defiantly not a product for a make up newbie as they are quite difficult to get to grips with.

You need next to no foundation when using these babies as they will smear the littlest bit of foundation all over your face. I would say for someone who has a little more time when doing their make up then its a great way of saving on foundation as a little goes a long way.. However you still need to blend it out with either a brush or beauty blender!

If you read my blog then you will know that I love a good highlight, so when I saw these for £3 I just couldn’t leave them there! I never usually go for crayons I am more of a powder gal but who knows if I don’t try right?

After some testing these have become my best friends when doing eye make up looks, they look amazing on the brow bone and also on the inner corners of the eye!

Sticking to the same pattern, another highlighting stick the colour is very pinky and at the moment I am loving a pink highlight.

The only thing I am finding with stick highlighters is that they require a little more effort than you usual powder ones. As you do need to blend them in after you have swiped them over your cheek bones etc.

Can’t say no to nude colour nail polish am I right? I could not leave these colours there they are gorgeous 1 mauve pink a 1 nude/purple and 1 creamy colour.

I work in retail so it’s quite hands on meaning nail varnish doesn’t last very long on me because I am constantly using my hand. However I am bloody loving these I think for the price of them you cannot go wrong they last around a week for me just like all nail varnishes.

The pigmentation in the colours is great too. I usually have to do around two coats like I do with all nude colours, so I am impressed.

Brushes! I think with brushes you can either fail or win there isn’t an in between, as I was strolling round the make up I stubbled upon a small sale section and was instantly sucked in!

I bought a couple one from their trolls range and the other set was just a normal set of brushes. I can happily say I am impressed, for the price of these you just cannot go wrong I would say if you are new to make up and want some cheapy brushes just to have a play about with then these are for you! Also really good for your handbag save taking out your expensive brushes as there is nothing worse than either losing or breaking an expensive brush!

Something that has become my everyday favourite from Primark. Sounds very silly as they’re only cotton pads but I really like the size of these not just the size of the pad also the amount you get in them as I do use 2/3 a day to get off my eye make up. For 90p you cannot go wrong when boots and other drug stores are charging £2 ish for this size and many.

Let me know if there are any Primark beauty products that you are loving in the comments! Thank you for reading don’t forget to follow!

Melissa
