A semiformal dress code basically means that you are free to choose. You can either go for a long gown, or a short dress. Both are equally acceptable; so, we advise you to choose the one in which you’ll feel more comfortable. Our personal favourite for this type of wedding is a knee-length cocktail dress. It will make you look sophisticated, but it won’t be too much. Additionally, you can combine it with a pair of statement earrings or a choker, which will add a touch of drama to your look. However, be careful not to wear too much jewellery since one bigger piece is usually enough.

Casual wedding

When you see that the invite says “casual”, you can relax. This means that you probably already have a perfect combination in your wardrobe. For example, a nice short or knee-length dress that you wear when you go out can be exactly what you’re looking for. You just need to pair it with some elegant pieces of jewellery, which will make your look more glamorous. In addition to that, feel free to go crazy and try out some funky shoes, which will perfectly match a single-coloured dress.
