Autumn has arrived & so have the Christmas coffees.

This is most definitely my favourite time of the year. I love the colours, I love the long cold walks, I love all the festive celebrations leading up to Christmas. I might be 20 something but I’m still a big kid when it goes to Christmas; I may have thrown a strop last year when I found myself advent calendar-less. Let’s hope mother doesn’t make the same mistake this year!

Last weekend we took full advantage of the extra hour and decided to go for a long walk in the woods. For the first 5 minutes I was glued to my phone taking photos, the sun was beginning to set and the whole forest looked beautiful. I still hadn’t felt well enough to go for a run, so it was nice to clock up a few miles, stretch my legs and just enjoy being outside.

We ended up taking an unexpected detour and came across some really incredible rocks and some funky looking mushrooms.

Now the clocks have changed, my 6am walk to the gym has become so much nicer; I get to see some of the most beautiful sun rises and there are leaves everywhere. I bloody love it!

And today marks the first day of Christmas; today the high street coffee chains launch their Christmas drinks and I am so excited! I’ve been waiting for this all year – every year I try and drink as many as I possibly can before they get taken away again.

So this morning I got up super early, got in a really good workout and headed straight to Costa for my first Christmas drink. And it did not disappoint! I went with the black forest hot chocolate, but their menu is incredible – I’m super excited to try the amaretto latte and the toasted marshmallow hot chocolate. Yes they may not be the healthiest drinks in the world but boy are they worth it!

What is your favourite Christmas flavour?

If you could make your own Christmas drink, what would it be?
