How to Get the Perfect Beach Body

It is summertime and you surely want to look good at the beach. But to have that perfect Body, you’ve got so much to do with so little time. Let’s speed up the routines so you can get your body sculpted beautifully before the summer ends. Below are the few things that you can do.

1. Find your problem areas.

Are you underweight, overweight, or do simply have a few bulges here and there? Whatever is keeping your confidence level down, take note of it. You need to know which parts of your body you have to work out more.

2. Watch your diet.

You have to know that if you want to lose weight, you have to stay away from some of your favorite foods. Cut out on starchy and sugary foods for now. Don’t eat as many chips. It’s just for the summer anyway. But if you can keep eating healthily for longer, that’s way even better.

3. Exercise.

This is the most important step of all. No matter how good you are at dieting, you simply cannot sculpt your body to perfection without doing some exercises. So be prepared to sweat it out until you’re ready to hit the beach. The more intense you get the better results you’ll see.

Exercising is mandatory to get that Perfect Beach Body. So that’s what we’re going to focus on here. You have to work it out for three straight weeks and you have to do various types of exercises, too.

From Monday to Saturday, alternate strength workouts with cardio intervals. On Sunday, tone it down with just an hour’s worth of walking, running, or biking around the neighborhood. Take Sunday as your rest day although you’re still required to get active for at least an hour.

Suggested Strength Workouts

Do these strength workouts repeatedly during Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Repeat each exercise at least twice. If you can do three to four rounds of each, that’s better. Be sure to take a rest between intervals.

1. Floor push ups

Push up focuses on the chest, shoulders, and triceps. To do it right, follow these tips: 

• Assume the push-up position by forming a straight line from your head to your heels.
• Slowly bend your elbows at 90 degrees.
• Lower your body toward the floor in three counts.
• Push a quarter of the way back up from the floor.
• Lower the chest back down without touching the floor.
• Push all the way back up to the starting position in a count of three.
• Note: you may also place your knees on the floor.

2. Standing Dumbbell Curl

This strength training targets the biceps and shoulders. It’s a fairly simple exercise that you can do by following these guidelines:

• Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
• Hold a dumbbell weighing anywhere from three to ten pounds in your hand.
• Be sure that your arms are straight at the sides with palms facing forward.
• Curl the dumbbells to your shoulders.
• Fan your elbows out to the sides.
• Turn your palms to face forward so your elbows are bent at 90 degrees.

3. Military Press

Like the dumbbell exercise, this fitness routine focuses on the biceps and shoulders as well. This will tone your arms and make it look great with your swimsuit. To do this exercise, just follow these steps:

• Push the dumbbells overhead until your arms are nearly straight
• Rotate your palms to face in.
• Return the weights to shoulder level.
• Put your elbows out to the sides and then lower it back to the starting position.

4. Stomach crunch

This exercise targets the abdominal muscles so make sure that you do it several times in a day. This workout should take you at least 10 minutes. It should give you a flat stomach while strengthening your core muscles.
• Lie on your back with your knees bent.
• Be sure that your feet are flat on the floor and is hip-width apart.
• You may place your hands on your thighs, behind your ears, or across your chest.
• Curl up towards your knees slowly until your shoulders are about three inches from the floor.
• Hold the position for several seconds before lowering down slowly.
• Perform at least 12 stomach crunches at a time.
• For best results, be sure not to tuck your neck into your chest when you rise.
• Never yank your head off the floor.

5. Plank

This exercise will target your lower back and core muscles. It is yet another simple exercise that you can do practically anywhere. Simply follow these steps:
• Lie on your front with your forearms and toes propping you up.
• Be sure that your legs are straight and your hips are raised.
• Make a straight from head to toe.
• The shoulders should be directly above the elbows.
• Keep your abs contracted during the exercise.
• Hold the position for five to ten seconds.
• Repeat eight to ten times.

Suggested Cardiovascular Workouts

There are many cardiovascular exercises that can enhance your body’s metabolic process. When you do your cardio make sure that you stay at it for at least 30 minutes, then do another round later. The more and longer you do an exercise, the better results will be. However, rest is important so don’t skip it.

Here are some of the best cardiovascular exercises that you can try:

1. Jogging
2. Brisk walking
3. Swimming
4. Biking

If you’re in the gym, you can generally use the following equipment to complete your cardio exercise requirements for the week:

1. Elliptical trainer
2. Stationary bike
3. Treadmill

If you’re more challenged to move when you’re in the groove, you may as well take some fitness classes. The following are highly recommended:

1. Cardio kickboxing
2. Zumba
3. Aerobics
4. Dancing

Getting that beach body is not going to be easy, but it can be done. If you start now, then you’ll reap the results later. It takes a lot of willpower and commitment to keep exercising for 21 days straight. But that’s also how you get your best body for the summer.

Just be sure to watch your body while dieting and exercising. Say no to crash diets and yes to healthy eating. You should also drink a lot of water while working out. Pause if you feel really tired. Don’t push yourself too much too soon. Do it gradually, and you’ll eventually get there. The use of natural weight loss supplements may also help.
