Ready for a crispy fix? You had me at oven-fried okra. This recipe thanks to Love as well as Passion transforms a traditionally deep-fried treat right into a healthy side you could happily indulge on. Thick cut okra is baked in a crispy covering of egg as well as whole wheat breadcrumbs for added protein as well as fiber. Enjoyable reality: The slimed ‘goo’ inside okra capsules is called mucilage and also is high in soluble fiber. This soluble fiber resembles the kind located in Metamucil as well as could help you stay regular.
