Fat Loss Secrets

It seems that we get conflicting advice from different people all the time. Eat paleo, don’t eat paleo, go low carb, don’t go low carb, and so forth. I am sure that you can relate. You think that you have finally found a good diet for you, then you hear conflicting advice and it makes you doubt the whole thing. So what to do? Well here are some things that we have learnt along the way. Here are our Fat Loss Secrets.

We Are All Different

Our first Fat Loss secret is that unfortunately there is no magic bullet to weight loss. No one perfect diet to lose weight and keep it off. I know, I wish it was that easy. The fact is that everyones body is different and the way we process different types of food and drinks vary. This is why there is still so many different type of diets available. This means that you may need experiment a little (or sometimes a lot) to see what works best for you. No matter which diet program you try, almost always it is a good idea to exercise at least 30 minutes a day (this can be as simple as a walk) and eat lots of vegetables.

Exercise Doesn’t Mean Reward

I often see that when people do a hard workout or a long hike for example, they think that they deserve a reward which usually consists of soda/beer and junk food such as nachos. This seems to happen all the time. Sometimes this not only counteracts the exercise, but they are actually worse off than just having a nutritious meal and not doing the exercise. If you go through the effort of exercising, make sure you follow it up with water and a nutritious meal.

If You have To Choose One, Choose Eating Well

This one continues on from the previous fat loss secret. If you HAD to choose between exercising / eating poorly and not exercising / eating well, then you are probably better off with eating well. This is where many people fail. The thought process is that they think that just because they exercised, they can eat junk. They may even say things like, I did a really long hike last weekend, I think that I can eat this bag of crisps. They ride the exercise train (so to speak) for as long as possible. No weight is lost and they wonder why. Eat well and exercise if you can. But at least do some walking each day.

Drink Plenty Of Water

The last of our fat Loss Secrets is to drink plenty of water. I see too many people barely drinking any water each day. They instead drink fruit juice, soda, and coffee. Being hydrated even slightly can cause some pretty serious cravings for sweets. So make sure you are drinking at least 8 large glasses of water each day and make sure your urine is of a hay color to unsure you are hydrated.

So there you have it, there are our top fat loss secrets. There is no point of giving you a list of 20 fat loss secrets as that would be overwhelming and you probably wont get anything out of it.
