So what happens now.

I have completed my month of vegan –> so what happens now?

Firstly, lets talk about how this month has been.

In all honestly, I thought I would have much more energy but that hasn’t happened –> my energy levels don’t feel much different. That said, I wasn’t taking any supplements which probably didn’t help –> I’ve since started to take Magnesium and B12 so watch this space.

I feel a lot better about myself –> I have lost weight but I also feel much stronger and fitter, and I’ve got much more motivation. I’ve decided to start a new workout routine and so far, I’m able to keep up!

It’s been a lot cheaper –> I’ve found that a vegan Diet is much cheaper than a meat based diet and I also have food left over for the following day.

It’s pushed me out of my comfort zone –> before going vegan, my diet wasn’t particularly interesting. I ate a lot of curry, spaghetti bolognese and chilli. Since becoming vegan, I’ve cooked something new every week –> I’ve found a new love for blackbeans and tofu and realised you can have too many chickpeas.

I have really enjoyed this past month and I can see a change –> both physical and mentally.

So what now?

I am not going to say I’m vegan –> instead I’m adopting a label-free diet. I will continue to eat a plant based diet but if I fancy a steak or a piece of cake, I will have one. I want to be the best I possibly can and I do feel like this diet could help –> I still have lots to learn and a few changes to make but I’m really excited to see where this goes
