How has it been a month already? Time is literally flying by and I’m not too sure I like it –> the older I get, the quicker time seems to go.

A month ago my partner made my gym plan and worked out my macro split –> so the big question is; do I feel much different? The honest answer is, no.

I have not been 100% on plan –> I’ve had Cheat Meals and I’ve skipped workouts. I haven’t been as consistent as I should have been and that has most definitely shown because I’m not where I’d like to be.

The main positive difference I can see is my strength –> I’m able to lift more than I could a month ago and I’m also able to do more reps so I’m definitely progressing. I’m also feeling a lot more confident with the weights and exercises that I’m doing –> I’m starting to understand why I’m doing each exercise and I’ve even added in a few of my own (thank you pinterest).

I am starting to see a little definition in my muscles but my body fat % is still too high.

My main issue which has always been my issue is Food. I can be 100% on plan for days but the minute I fancy something, I cave. I don’t have the willpower to stop eating the crisps in front of me or say no to a McDonalds when everyone else is getting one. I know a slip up every now and then isn’t the end of the world but realistically, I’m not anywhere near enough my goals to allow myself these regularly. Most people I see on Instagram that allow themselves to have cheat meals are people who are comfortable with their weight and are looking to maintain –> as I’m looking to lose weight, I seriously need to cut down on the crap.

So this month I am going to really focus on my food –> I’ve decided to ban chocolate and crisps for a month. I am most definitely an all or nothing person and right now, I know I need to have nothing. I’m also hoping that by cutting them out, I won’t crave them so much after this month is over.

I have started to see a little change in my body –> I’ve lost around 5lbs and I can see more definition in my stomach but I was definitely hoping for more. I’m also going to be changing my workout slightly because of an opportunity I’ve been given but I’ll tell you more about that in my next blog post

Have you had to ban foods before? Did it work or did it make it worse?
