This Cinco de Mayo when you upgrade to a “Cadillac Margarita,” consider its humble beginning in the San Francisco establishment for which it was named: the Cadillac Bar and Grill.

Throughout the 1980s, the Cadillac was a very popular restaurant located South of Market Street (SOMA) in San Francisco. Displaced by the expansion of the Moscone Center, this landmark bar needed a new home and fresh solutions to raise capital.

Cadillac owner, Michael Rodriguez knew he had to think outside the box and get creative with his capital raise. So he contacted Kim Kaselionis, founder and managing partner of Breakaway Funding.
