Energy Deregulation And The Network Marketing Industry

Hello everyone! I hope each and every one of you made it a great day in your businesses. Today I am going to discuss how the deregulation of Energy has taken to the Network Marketing Industry and explore the different opportunities that are available for everyone. First and foremost, the deregulation of energy is somewhat of a huge step in the United States. But, for many who are not so familiar, here is the cut and dry definition. Deregulation now allows customers who pay their electric or natural gas bill every month to have a choice where they get their energy. This means that customers can shop around for more competitive rates and have the chance to save some money on their energy bills monthly and over the course of a year. Pretty neat, right? All this can also be done without losing the trust of a customer dropping their current monopoly that has taken care of this utility their whole life. You see, just because you purchase energy from a more competitive company, your monopoly still has to distribute, service and make sure your meters are being read just like they always have. I hope that draws sort of concluding picture for your if you were not so sure about the industry.

Now, with that being said, there are many companies taking advantage of the direct selling industry to get the word out about their product (energy). Referring customers and being able to educate people about the business side of things can create huge business for people who are joining the industry. When someone pays their electric bill every month and they are your customer, you can now receive a cut of the pie by building a solid customer base. Also, leveraging your customer base relies on building a downline of associates who are willing to do business with you. So lets dig deeper.

Most business opportunities that you would start traditionally would require huge start-up costs, loans and a greater time frame to even turn a profit. Well, with our wonderful industry of Network Marketing, you can usually be in business for yourself with a start-up cost of between $300-$500. With a few requirements out of the gate, you can then turn that profit back in a timely fashion and focus on building long-time residual income that comes in every single month. But, like I’ve discussed before, this is a business and to be able to see the light and prosper, you must treat your opportunity like a business. Just merely signing up and watching money fall from the sky is not going to happen, sadly. With the deregulation of energy simply at a ground floor stage right now, there is opportunity to really build a solid Network Marketing Business. Here are some options:

Ambit Energy: Ambit requires an upfront cost of $429 to get started and be able to make money with their program. You gain access to all operational sites. These sites have trainings, webinars and conference calls for all distributors. Also there will be an ongoing $25 a month for your website/back office suite that keeps track of your organization, customers, commissions etc. Ambit Energy is in the following deregulated markets: Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, Maryland and Texas.

Viridian Energy: Viridian is another reputable company that has sort of different approach for becoming a business owner. You see, you can enter at a $99 cost for a single state single product base. $299 single state with all products. And finally, $399 all states all product. Along with what entry-level you choose to start with, there is a $20 a month website fee with a $59 dollar annual renewal. The markets in which Viridian operates is Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and New York.

North American Power: North American Power was launched in 2010 and unlike other energy companies in our field, there is no start-up cost or monthly fees for your website/back office. North American Power is simple to get started in business with because all you need to do is become a customer or refer a customer. Showing the opportunity and allowing customers to refer others to use the service then allows your organization to become qualified to get paid. North American Power was also featured in Forbes this week at #57 out of the Top 100 Most Promising Companies. North American Power also offers an American Wind product that can be purchased nation wide at a cost of $19.95 a month for residents who do not fall into the footprint on the deregulated states. This was a pretty interesting fact, knowing anyone in the U.S. can begin building a business and begin earning, before their state became deregulated. Currently in the deregulated market North American Power serves Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Maryland.

These are a few reviews of energy companies competing in the Network Marketing industry. If you would like to learn more and build a business with no start-up, don’t hesitate to contact me.

To All Of Your Success,

Brian
