What Do You Look For When Evaluating A Network Marketing Opportunity?

Good evening all! Once again I hope it was a great day and you made great strides. Back when I was looking at starting in the Network Marketing industry, I was so overwhelmed with the business model and excited to get going right away. I saw the dollar signs and said this is the one for me. I had a couple of stints with Companies and ended up failing at them and getting discouraged. This is the main reason why a lot of network marketers fail. I definitely found myself falling into that gruesome category of failure to be quite honest. So, as I grew older and took my lumps I actually began to learn. I began to learn that in order to become successful, I had to know what was going on in the industry as far as companies went.

I began my long and strenuous quest of research. I was researching companies, Compensation plans, googling every single aspect trying to pick apart opportunities. But then again, was this the right approach also? I don’t believe so. I would drive myself crazy at night if I found one single bad remark about a company. I would shut myself down and move on to the next and think there has to be one company out there that people don’t label a “pyramid scam,” or a, “rip off.” My advice to you if you are the person falling into that trap is good luck. You see, you cannot evaluate a company or opportunity based on the comments of others. If you happen to be doing this, you are really not looking at an opportunity that can benefit you. You are focusing on how it did not benefit others. There are a thousand different reasons that an opportunity didn’t work out for others. Maybe they didn’t work the business. Maybe they expected money to fall from the heavens. Maybe they did not have an upline who cared enough about them to help them get off the ground. All these different reasons are possible, but for you performing your evaluation, you do not know.

So, where do we go from here. You need to look at an opportunity and truly be passionate about the product. Can you wake up everyday and talk to someone enthusiastically about what you have to offer? This is a huge step in making the right decision for, “YOU.” Quite frankly if you host a meeting or show some potential clients your program or product and you are just going through the motions, you need to re-think your decision. That is first and foremost. Secondly, every single company offers different Compensation Plans that range from high, low, middle, highest and so forth. If you actually sat and compared every single Companies Compensation plan, you would go blue in the face. Although compensation is very important, when evaluating the plan you need to again think if you can make a profit quick enough and help others do the same. What will it take for me to achieve supplemental or maximum compensation from this company? Have I come up with a way to help the people I bring into the business achieve that goal as well? Those are important questions you need to be asking yourself.

A lot of successful companies in the industry have been mentioned and some are mentioned time and time again in huge publications. These publications may be Forbes Magazine, Wall Street Journal and Direct Selling Magazine. These publications all add to the credibility of a company. Are these the utmost important qualities? No. Your company may be new in the industry and is on the verge of achieving such a feat but you haven’t just yet. That doesn’t make anything wrong with your company evaluation or choice. So in the light of the business, these are some tips on how to make sure an opportunity clicks for you. In the end, working your choice hard enough and plugging in to trainings will surely aide your path to success!

To Your Success,

Brian Gray
