Hi – please find attached my monthly statement for July and a photo of myself on a highways construction site that I am involved with. This is my first crack at ToM, after an up and down journey over the past 18 months my account has been in a positive and steady trend for the past 2-3 months. I am now “rewarding” the account on a dollar for dollar basis to help it grow more quickly and encourage the right trading behaviour, working to make each trade count.

Hi Team,

I joined the Index Pro Trading team in January 2016. To date, it has been a huge journey to get to where I am now, with plenty of falls and many triumphs along the way. I have been able to ascertain that AB, Mark Austin & Cameron Malik are great mentors to have in your corner for training, encouragement, and assistance. Without their input, advice, and systems I would still be floundering or more likely would have given up hope of becoming a trader.

Getting control of my risk management has been much tougher than I first thought, but found I had to make it a priority to achieve consistent results and performance. July has been my best month on the consistent performance journey and I now know I can improve on this without taking on additional risk. I find it particularly pleasing to know that this month’s return of 36.3% was achieved without any assistance from expiry trades, which are a large slice of monthly profit normally. Patience and selectivity are the key to future success for me.

I am currently living at Noosa Heads in Qld and enjoy the freedom and lifestyle that trading provides, which is just fantastic.

Hi guys,

If only I followed my own advice and stuck to my plan, I would have made an extra 10% for the month and only traded a third of the trades I actually took. July was an experiment (or a total lapse of discipline) in taking every trade idea that came my way to see what works, albeit at small stakes. Yet again, I proved that less is more and I should STICK TO MY PLAN! Will I ever learn? Here’s hoping for next month – I’m going to really try to stick to my plan after getting burned on a series of new trade ideas that I was testing live without back testing first. Fortunately, my back tested plan trades still delivered me a net 13% return.

I joined LTG Goldrock back in January 2017 and have been trading FX after participating in the FX Boot Camp in Sydney in May 2017. Obviously, I’m still learning and my main focus at the moment is to control my sporadic mind and follow and 100% define my strategy. I have recently read Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas which is highly recommended.

I have had another profitable month, only trading 3 weeks of July. I have stuck to my trading plan trading the 1 hr Bonanza trades & although my ROI is less than last month (137%) I am very pleased with my results with ROI of 30%.

Overall 56 Trades, 36 were successful.

Risk control is very important. Trade monitoring is the key to the profitable trade. Once a position triggered, we need to adjust SL and TP according to the situation. Don’t let the trade runs itself till hit the profit target, it might have risks to lose the profit which could have had been taken.

Hi Andrew and LTG team,

July was a very busy month with my normal day job and took less trades than I did the month before and had more losing trades than winners. However, I still managed to return around 5% profit for the month.

What I have done is make myself up an excel spread sheet which includes the criteria of the trade set up that I like and the currencies which I trade. I print this off before I go to work with the currency pairs noted which are coming into play with my trade set up. When I have my lunch I can look at the charts on my phone and if price action allows I will take it at market. Usually I will miss the trade but that is ok because I will still take note of whether it hits target or misses.

I also watched the 2016 boot camp by AB on the LTG web site. I recommend other members do that because Andrew outlined a few things that I had been doing incorrectly and I have now stopped doing that. This months’ results have proven that. The other thing he mentioned was “Earning the right to trade a large account” and how to build up your account. This is what I am working on and I am looking forward to August end of month results.
