Jagaha.com, Mumbai’s commercial real estate portal, just recently completed two years of being live and up and running!

Like any start-up we came in thinking that our website was going to take off and take over the world, then reality hit us square in the face that it might be a tad bit harder than we thought to take on the existing and well-known property sites. Before launching we had sourced over 3,000 commercial properties in Mumbai, Thane & Navi Mumbai so we would have something to offer our soon to be massive user base.  

From when we launched in April of 2016 until about February 2017, Google and other searches engines could not crawl over our results page – the page where all our properties are located. Even after speaking to many different SEO vendors, it wasn’t until later in 2016 we found out about this!! This certainly explained why Jagaha.com wasn’t ranking on the first page for many commercial real estate keyword search phrases; ergo, very few businesses inquired even though the number of properties on our site had multiplied during this period of time. To give you an idea of how low the numbers were, in January 2017 only thirteen different businesses inquired on Jagaha.com and that number was 30-40 percent higher than the previous months!  

Fast forward to January 2018 and over 400 businesses and investors in that month alone and now in May we will likely cross 1,000 inquires per month for those looking for commercial spaces for rent or outright in the Mumbai metro area.

We have become an end to end solution for those looking to rent or sell their property in Mumbai leading Jagaha.com to having more commercial properties in Mumbai than any other property portal with over 15,000 – all of which are verified in person by a member of our property team. Needless to say, our focus is not just on the inventory side.
