AQ stands for Adversity Quotient.   According to peaklearning.com

“AQ is the most scientifically robust and widely used method in the world for measuring and strengthening human resilience.”

The higher your AQ the more adversity you are able to undertake. Many of us today are way too sensitive and are not willing to roll up our sleeves and take care of business.

Instead small obstacles and setbacks tend to get in our way.  Why do we let this happen?  Could be upbringing, the environment in which we were raised, etc. 

Why Do We Need More AQ? 

Allows for more chances to succeed which equals more opportunities to succeed, which equals a higher probability of success.

Systematic failing allows for greater success

In the world of randomness systems are key and failing is to!

If we do not do things consistently we in turn get inconsistent results.  If our AQ is low it is highly unlikely that we can follow systemic success and would most likely turn away short of the goal at hand.  The variables that create success need a system to help target successful results

Lottery vs. Systems Approach

Do you believe we have a better chance to win the lottery by playing for 20 years with the same numbers or completely off the cuff by changing numbers every single time?  Most likely by playing the same numbers, right?  Even then it would still be difficult!  Consistency over time will increase our odds.  Whether it is a career management plan, career goals, business goals, or vision that we are chasing, consistency will make or break you.  Systems make success!

If you fail once then try again and if you fail twice then try again…

How to Improve AQ?

  1. Meditation helps to calm your mind and regenerate your focus to the most important details and eliminate noise.  Try doing this for ten minutes per day
