UPSC IES Syllabus 2018 2019 – ESE Exam Pattern Download

The Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) conducts the Engineering Services Exam ( ESE ) every year. The candidates who got qualified in these Examinations will be recruited in the Indian Engineering Services ( IES ). This UPSC IES ESE Exam 2018 has 3 Stages.

One is the Preliminary Examination. UPSC IES Prelims Exam 2018 is an Objective type of Examination. It consists of 2 Papers which are Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Maximum marks of the Paper 1 of Prelims is 200 Marks. The Duration of UPSC IES Prelims Paper 1 Exam 2018 is 2 Hours. The candidates who have qualified in the UPSC IES ESE Exam 2018 should attend Second Stage which is called Mains Examination. It is a conventional type of Exam. The Maximum Marks in the UPSC IES ESE Mains Exam 2018 is 300 Marks each Paper. Duration of the UPSC IES ESE Paper 1 is 3 Hours. The Duration of UPSC IES ESE Paper 2 is 3 Hours. Shortlisted candidates who have passed in this Exam should attend an Interview. Candidates who are selected in the Interview will be recruited in the Indian Engineering Services.
