Allie All Along Book Review
Summary
While having fun coloring, Allie broke her crayon. She was so mad, she exploded and turned red. Her anger was really red and mad. Her friend saw her and wanted to help.
Through this Book, Alley used different calm down techniques to get her through her anger from red all the way to her normal self.
What I Loved
I loved how Allie was able to be mad. Kids should express their feelings. They need to go through the same emotions as an adult before they are ready to calm down and be themselves again.
Advice
As you read this book, talk to your child. Ask them what makes them feel red angry and blue angry. I find when you go through the emotions when your kids are calm, they will have an easier time when they do get angry.

My Overall Opinion
Allie All Along fits right in with my teaching methodology. When you let kids use their emotions when they are younger, they will grow up to be stronger adults. With the addition of this book with the rest of our tools, our kids will have no problem understanding their feelings and learning new calm down methods. Allie All Along is a great book.
