Hello friends, I am here to discuss an important topic “How to crack aptitude section” this one of the most important aspects of an interview process. The first round of interview is always aptitude for many of the companies. Aptitude tests are designed to analysis the logical reasoning and the thinking capacity of the candidate.Generally, aptitude tests contain multiple choice questions and they are timed as well. Nowadays, many companies are recruiting candidates based on their performance on an aptitude test.Aptitude is the most important gate to enter in IT career. IT entrance, Government exams, CAT, CMAT, MPSC & UPSC exams and many other fields conduct aptitude tests. It is more than a test because it is necessary for the candidate to crack it before going to next round.

In today’s world, Competition is too high in every field.The process of the Job search is going higher day to day. The number of candidates applying for the same job is increasing so there is an aptitude test to picking up the candidate who has many skills as compared to others. So you must have unique skills to compete others.

To crack an aptitude test within a time is a difficult thing but not impossible. Practice is key to success in these exams. Do more practice and get the best result as well. But actually, the practice of what and which type of questions is really a big concern.

English was not as useful to get much score in the examination so I neglected.

So in this scenario, you will need to get a good score in each section.

Focus on Data Interpretation and Missing number series:

If you notice some IBPS PO exam question papers, you will come to know where to concentrate. If you re good in Data Interpretation and Missing number series you may get 40% of the marks.So be thorough in all the subtopics in Data Interpretation like – Tables, Bar Charts, Pie Graph, Combination Graph and Case Studies etc.

Verbal abilities and Logical Reasoning are time-consuming sections said by most of the students.

Verbal reasoning questions are not constructed to measure your efficiency with the English. They are designed to test your ability to take a series of facts expressed in words and to understand and manipulate the information to solve a specific problem.

Actually Verbal abilities and Logical Reasoning are a little bit easier than quantitative aptitude.

So this section can help to get a good score in Aptitude.

For higher posts, you must have great verbal reasoning skills. Because many employers use verbal reasoning questions to gain an insight into whether you have the key intellectual skills that are the foundation for success in a managerial position.

Verbal reasoning is the ability to comprehend and reason using concepts expressed through words. A verbal reasoning test is a form of aptitude test used by interviewers to find out how well a candidate can assess verbal logic, and how successfully they can extract the correct meaning from complex written information.

 Follow old question papers:

When you are preparing for the aptitude test, don’t forget to practice with previous question papers. There are many good sources online, where you can take up free aptitude tests, such that you can measure yourself and improve accordingly.

Time Management:

You can solve many online questions papers across the internet and manage time to solve it accordingly.

Read carefully before answering:

In most of the cases, aptitude test will have twist phrases and confusing words so you should read twice or thrice time and later choose a most appropriate answer.

Double check for complicated answers:

Generally, it is recommended to go through the entire answer sheet after completing the test. If you have remains less time, it is better to check the answer to complicated questions and make sure you have given the correct answers.

In the case of negative marketing:

It is better to leave the answer blank of difficult one. Because negative marking can affect badly to an overall score on a test.

Always try to solve easy questions first.

There is two benefit of it.
