Padma Awards are one of the highest civilian awards of India. Padma means “Lotus” in Sanskrit language. It is categorized in three categories: Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri.
These awards are given to different people every year on the eve of Republic Day. These are given for various disciplines such as
