IBPS RRB PO Exam Analysis 2017 – List of Questions from All Shifts

Hello Aspirants,

IBPS RRB Officers Scale – 1 prelims exam has been successfully held on 9th & 10th September 2017 in four shifts.

The upcoming exam dates for RRB Officer Scale I & Office Assistant exam are 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th September 2017.

Candidates who are going to appear in upcoming slots will need the analysis for the exam. Also, this IBPS RRB PO 2017 Exam Analysis will help you to get an idea about the expected cut off marks & difficulty level of asked questions.

Here we are sharing detailed analysis for the IBPS RRB PO (Scale 1) exam held on 9th and 10th September 2017.

The overall level for IBPS RRB exam was from easy to moderate. This means the number of attempts will be higher & there are chances that cutoff marks will be raised too.

Total 80 questions were asked overall in both Reasoning and Quantitative Ability sections.

Each section for IBPS RRB consists of 40 questions. A total of 45 minutes time limit was given to solve these questions.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale – I 2017-18 Exam Overall Analysis: 9th September

Reasoning Ability:

The overall level of Reasoning Ability was not excessively hard. Aspirants can score higher in this section if they practiced well.

There were four questions of puzzles and seating arrangement asked in the exam.

Puzzles:

Q.1         There are 7-person A, B, C, D, E, F and G who are Born in 8 different months January, February, March, April, June, August, and October. A was born in the month which has less than 31 days but not in April. There are 3 people born between A and C. B born one of the days after D. No one was born between B and D. E was born on one of the days before G. E is not born in a month with maximum number of days. None on these born between G and E.

Q.2         Eight boxes A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H not in the same order. There are Three boxes between A & B.H is immediately below A. There are two boxes between H and G. There are as many boxes between H and B, as between C and D. C is one of the boxes above D. E is immediately below D. There are only three boxes between E & F.

Q.3         M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T are sitting around a Round table. Some of them are facing the center and some are facing outside. O sits 2nd to the right of R. R is facing towards the center. There are 2 persons in between O and N. S sits 2nd to the right of O. T sits on the immediate right of N. S & N are facing opposite direction (if S is facing center then N is facing outside and vice versa). There are 3 persons in between P and Q. Both P and M are not immediate neighbours of R. Q sits 2nd to the right of M. Both T and Q faces opposite direction of O.

Q.4         Eight boxes A, B, C, D, J, K, L, M are arranged in a pile way. 3 boxes are kept in between A & J. There are As many boxes as in between c and J & c and A. There are 4 boxes in between k & B. K is immediately below C. There are 3 boxes in between M and D where D lies below M but not the Lowest. L does not lie immediately above J.

Q.5         There are Seven persons A, B, C, D, E, F and G, they are born in different months viz. February, March, June, August, September, October & December. A was born in one of the months before May. There are two persons who born between A & E. D was born one of the months before G, in the month has 30 days. No one was born between D and G. C was born one of the months after F, in the month has 31 days. No one was born between C and F.

Q.6         Eight persons J, K, L, M, N, O, P and Q are sitting around a circular table. Some of them are facing centre and another facing outside. Three persons sit between O & N. M is sitting second to the right of N. M faces inside the centre. K is sitting third to the right of N. Q is sitting third to the right of K. L is sitting second to the left of J. J is not an immediate neighbour of N. Immediate neighbours of P faces the same direction. L & P are facing opposite direction of O. O faces the same direction as M. Immediate neighbours of L faces opposite direction.

Q.7         Twelve number of persons are sitting in two parallel rows in a way that persons who are sitting in one row face persons sitting in the other row. O, P, Q, R, S & T are sitting in a row first, faces south. E, F, G, I, J & K are sitting in the row second which faces north. Three persons sitting between R & T.
