Algal Bloom in Arabian Sea Linked to Climate Change

The Gulf of Oman witnesses Algal Bloom twice a year that is now believed to replace the population of zooplanktons, which might disturb the local food chain. The algal bloom releases ammonia and can paralyze the surrounding aquatic lives including the fishes. The recently used satellite technology has linked algal bloom to air and water pollution.
