- Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth has reached New Delhi today on a 7 day visit to India.
- He will leave for Varanasi to take part in the Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas tomorrow.
- Important Points to Note :
- India is Mauritius’ largest trading partner and has been the largest exporter of goods and services to Mauritius since 2007.
- Eight Indian Public Sector Enterprises are currently functioning in Mauritius.
- Over the past 40 years, India has extended several Lines of Credit to Mauritius to assist in the development of its infrastructure, human resource, skills development and capacity building.
National Current Affairs
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC) in Mumbai today.
- The ceremony was attended by several Bollywood actors and filmmakers, including Aamir Khan and Karan Johar.
