Division of Fractions Continued 2

Let's continue with division of fractions using one Mixed Number.


Okay here is your problem. You can see we have a fraction and a mixed number. Before I can do anything I have to make the mixed number an improper fraction.
As you can see in this step we made the mixed number an improper fraction.
Now we can apply LCF to the division problem. Remember this means (Leave, Change, Flip) If you don't remember you can go back to the first post and refresh yourself.
Now we look to see if we can cross simplify, in this case there isn't anything to simplify, so we now just multiply across. The answer is 4/21.
