Create an awareness: It is vital to know what is needed to qualify an exam. Understand what you need to learn and divide it into smaller groups. Focus on one part at a time and built up as you progress. Be aware of Upcoming Government Exams and apply for various exams, not only the one you plan to qualify. The syllabuses are almost same and appearing in different exams will help you understand where you lack.

Built up your knowledge base: Always be aware of the changes happening around you and learn to recognize important news that might be part of the exams. You don’t need a large number of books to qualify majority of the exams, hence focus on quality and not the quantity. Clear your concepts and cover every topic in the syllabus. Manage your time: Success always comes to those that work hard for it. Time management is a great tool for you. Learn to priorities your work and create time for study as well as co-curricular activities to relax your mind. During preparations learn to manage your time for successful completion of each question. Divide time slots among various sections and recognize your strong zone and weak zone. Try to finish your study plan at least one month before the exam so that you can revise the syllabus.

Practice: Only practice can make a man perfect. Acquire practice books, Mock tests, previous years papers, online practice series, etc. to recognise your weaknesses and strength.
