Parkland documentaries

Two more documentaries on the Feb. 14, 2018 shootings at Stoneman Douglas High School are out this week, reports Mark Walsh on Education Week.

Parkland 17, about the football team at Stoneman Douglas, which had to cope with the death of assistant coach Aaron Feis. It’s available on demand at ESPN.

Parkland: Inside Building 12, a two-hour documentary, tracks “the movements of the shooter inside the ‘freshman building’ on the Stoneman Douglas campus and the circumstances of the shootings of the 17 students and staff members who were killed,” writes Walsh. It had a limited release in theaters will be “available for sale or rental on Amazon Prime and for free rental through hoopladigital.com through participating public libraries.).”

HBO’s Song of Parkland focuses on the high school’s theater students, who also are featured in Awakening: After Parkland.
