Green tea

The Mayo Clinic states that a cup of green tea will have 24 – 40 mg of caffeine content. The serving size here is assumed to be 240 ml or 8 oz. The different methods in which we brew the green tea causes the difference in the caffeine content.

Higher we boil the leaves in the water; more would be the caffeine content in it. If a cup is steeped for 5 minutes, then it will have double the amount of caffeine that you may consume on steeping the coffee for 2 minutes.

Teeth Staining

Green tea and coffee both may bring teeth stains. Thus, in order to avoid stains and maintain dental health, you should take necessary steps post drinking. For example, you may consider flossing your mouth, brushing your teeth, etc.

What makes green tea originate teeth stains?
