The Krabi weather radar is a good backup in case the Phuket Weather Radar is not online. Also useful if you are planning to visit Krabi :) Krabi is only about 60km east of Phuket and you can see Phuket clearly (the blue island) just left of center on the radar image below. The Krabi weather / rain radar has a wider range than the Phuket radar also - you can see east to Nakorn Sri Thammarat and Surat Thani / Koh Samui.
