Summer Dates in Granada
Over the Summer there are lots of music, dance and cultural festivals in Granada.
As well as the Festival International de Musica and Danza in the Alhambra there are other lesser known ones to seek out.
Sacromonte Cave Festival
Date & Artist: Usually in July
Venue: Museo Cuevas de Sacromonte, Camino de Sacromonte, Granada

Los Veranos del Corral
This Flamenco festival in Corrala de Carbon, just off Calle Reyes Catolicos is one of my favourites.
The venue is small and open air. Perfect for balmy summer evenings.
Dates: From Mid August until End of September

Summer in the Generalife
Every year the Andalusian Flamenco Balleta organises summer concerts in the Generalife theatre set inside the Alhambra grounds.
This Summer the performance is called: Flamenco Lorquiano
Dates: From 19th July until 1st September 2018
Performance: 10pm
Tickets on sale at Teatro Isabel la Catolica, close to Puerta Real (Shown in picture below) or in El Corte Ingles (Customer Service desk in Basement Floor -1)
The show is inspired by Federico Garcia Lorca´s work and recreates surreal and flamenco landscapes. With different styles of music and dance such as seguiriyas, granaínas, fandangos, country style songs, bulerías, tangos, romances alegrías and soleares. Some put to words of Lorca´s poetry
Palacio de Congresos de Granada
La Nube is an open air terrace above the Palacio de Congresos. They serve food and have a cultural agenda throughout the summer season.
The entrance is on the Calle Profesor Enrique Tierno Galván.

Spanish Guitar Concerts
The gardens of the Manuel de Falla museum have guitar concerts on throughout the summer.
Cost 12 euros

From July until 3rd September.

Summer Jazz concerts
During August there are Jazz concerts at the Caja Cultural de Caja Granada
Address: Building opposite Science Park Museum, Museo Caja Cultural de Granada.
