A Trail Along Red Rock Canyon

ANOTHER DAY WAS SPENT GOING TO THE Red Rock Canyon... It was just an hour away from Las Vegas and this time we took our own sweet time to get ready unlike the other day when we went to the Grand Canyon which was a five hours drive away.

For nature lovers especially, this is one of the places not to be missed.  Though I am not well-versed with plants and gardening, I managed to know some of the plants' names and most of them are cactus actually... but sorry, I think I cannot remember them all... According to what I heard, this is the best time to see the cactus blooming.  In another month or two, the land will be dry and out...

The few of us walked along the trail and saw some interesting carvings at the foot of the mountain...

Setting out on the road...
As we approached the Red Rock....
This time we did not stop to take the Red Rocks...
Beaver Cactus...
Barrel Cactus...
Cannot remember this though...
We hiked and followed the trail to the deeper side of the mountains...
The carvings on the mountain....
We saw someone climbing the mountain.... and I felt so scared for her....
I zoomed in to the climber...
She looked like "helpless" as the man at the top of the mountain waited...
That's us... yes!
And leaving our "prints" here before leaving...
