The Cave Trek

Tags: cave trek park
A week and a half ago I trekked into Hang En, the third-largest Cave in the world. Located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, in central Vietnam, the cave was a remarkable place. This overnight trek (which included camping on a 'beach' inside the cave) was easily the best hike I've done in the country, and I hope to return to explore more of the park's caves. Son Doong, the world's largest, is also in the area, but room on treks is extremely limited and the five-day expedition costs about $3,000 - well out of my price range. I've included a few pictures from the adventure below, and check out my recap of the trek for Saigoneer here.

I bought a new camera before the trip and am learning how to use Lightroom so if you notice an upgrade in picture quality, that's why.
