When we were in Patan to visit the ancient Rani-Ki-Vav we could spot several common birds in the Vicinity. One of them is Bank Myna.
This bird identified by the Grey body, black hooded head and the bare brick red patch behind the eye. The upper plumage is slaty grey while the underside is lighter grey. The legs are yellow while the iris is deep red.
It is found in northern parts of South Asia. They inhabit mainly in the vicinity of open water and cultivated farmland.
