Delhi is the Capital City of India. Delhi serves as the seat of Indian Government. It has a total area of 1483 square kilometers and has a population of about 11,954,217( estimate till 2007).Population of Delhi includes Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddishts etc.
Delhi is situated on the western bank of Yamuna River. It is surrounded by the Aravalis and Himalayan ranges. Delhi is the second largest Metropolitan City in India after Mumbai. Delhi has nine districts of National Capital territory(NCT) of Delhi.
