Dublin – Pubs

1: 57 The Headline –  With a huge selection of craft beer its heaven for any beer lover. One of the great things about here is the huge selection of Irish gin and whiskey along with a great cocktail selection. There are no TV’s in the pub that makes it great for just relaxing over a drink. On dark and rainy nights in Dublin, the Headline is the perfect place to be!

2: The Waterloo – Not too many people agree with me here, but the Waterloo have tried really hard over the last year or so to change it up (new menu, changing the bar layout, funky cocktails). Sadly they took away the best cocktail menu around, the limited selection they do have is great.

3:  The South William – Interesting little place in the centre of town that we came across during the 2015 Six Nations, and where I developed my love for Espresso Martinis. Its quite small and has mostly been quite whenever I have visited. All of the Martinis here are amazing! The Jaffa Cake and The Yankee are both great.

4: The Liquor Rooms – Situated on the Quays, the bar is a bit dark but they make amazing cocktails.

5: McSorleys – Situated in Ranelagh, McSorleys is a large pub great for watching the rugby. They have a standard bar food menu and regularly run promos that are worth checking out. They have a great selection of gins and whiskeys along with craft beer.

6. The Legal Eagle – Situated on the quays and recently done up, this is a great little spot when in town. They do bar food here which is meant to be quite good, and have a pretty large selection of beers & cocktails!

7. The Fourth Corner – A new bar right beside St Patricks Cathedral, this cute little place has 4 fantastic cocktails (will be expanding in the next few months), my favourite being their espresso martini. They also get pizza’s delivered in from

8. MVP – Another Dublin 8 local, this weird little place is good for a few drinks. Its super hipster in an old man bar with lots of dogs!  They do some nice cocktails and is a great little spot around Christmas!

9. The Long Hall – One of my new favourite bars. Such a good whiskey collection and always a really good vibe here. Its busy most nights of the week
