A small archipelago included in the series of islands that belong to the Maldives, Rasdhoo, is full of wonders waiting to be discovered! Here are a few things to keep in mind before your holiday visit to this fantastic isle of the Maldives.

Getting there
There are many ferries from Male that one can take to Rasdhoo. If you opt for a public ferry, it will take you 3 hours to reach the island. However, a fast ferry is available on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 pm. The ferry ride, in this case, takes less than an hour.

Places to stay
One can never be short of a resort in Maldives for lodging! As in any other tourist atoll, Rasdhoo too has many hotels and resorts such as Kuramathi Maldives. With some research, you will be able to find a resort that is best suited to your budget.

Water sports
If you love the splashy kind of fun, then the water sports available here is sure to get your excitement high! For those who like nonmotorized water sports, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing are available. For more speedy action on the water try water skiing, banana rides and fun tubes.

Island excursions
Want to get a taste of the local culture? Well, then set out to explore the island and the day to day lives of the people here. Also, go snorkelling or diving to get a glimpse of the impressive aquatic life here.
