This is a famous Maldivian dish, which is made from fresh tuna. Sautéing small-diced cubes of tuna in onions, garlic, and ginger prepare the flavourful dish, along with curry leaves, pandan leaves, chilli powder, and simmering the fish in Coconut Cream and water till it’s thoroughly cooked. The dish can be eaten for breakfast with chapathi or for dinner with rice.

Like other Asian countries, Maldives has its own assortment of delectable curries and what differentiates these savoury Maldivian curries from others is the use of unique spices and the delicious meat that is cooked to perfection in coconut cream. These traditional Maldivian curries can be enjoyed when you are dining in Maldives at resorts like Velassaru Maldives.
