1971 Buick Electra 225 (Deuce And A Quarter)

As much as I love MOPAR, and as much as I love Caddies, and as much as I love Chevy, this vintage American sedan tops them all, baby!

1971 Buick Electra 225 AKA the “Deuce-And-A-Quarter“.

I’ve had neighbors who had these, I’ve had friends who drive these and these alone, and your diehard Caddy owner would switch over push come to shove.

Called “225” because of its two hundred and twenty five inch length. A title it would hold until 1980, although the Electra title would continue until 1990 then the Park Avenue replaces all Electra models.

I was at a hardware store to get my screens fixed, and I stumbled across this vintage American classic! Out of respect for the owner, I blacked out the license plate number.

I’ve said many times before, and yet I can’t say it enough, they don’t make ’em like they used to!

And as I’ve said in years past, as a photographer, things find you! This was a case in point.
