How to improve your Infographic Design

What is Infographic Design?

An Infographic is a collection of image, chart, and text that gives an easy-to-understand overview of a topic. There are three parts of infographics- visual, the content, and knowledge. The visual is about  colors and graphics, Text usually serve as the content for infographics and One of the most important aspects of infographics is the knowledge, what the user is getting from the infographic.

Infographics are an excellent way to boost the online visibility of your company.

To make infographic as visually engaging here are few things to remember.

          

1: Know your Audience-

Before you start infographic design think about the peoples you’re trying to reach and story you’re trying to tell.

 

2: Make a wireframe-

You should always make a wireframe of your design before you begin. This will save you time and give you a more clear concept of your design.

 

3: Collect your Assets-

In this part of the process is about getting together all of the pieces of stuff you will want in your infographic: data for your charts and graphs, copy, icons, images, photos, and other visuals.

 

4: Layout the elements-

Start by telling your reader what they’ll gain from your infographics.

Laying out your elements with a predefined grid is an easy strategy that instantly raises your infographic.

Use a centered, single column layout for content with a linear flow, Use a two column layout to make comparisons. Use a multi-section layout when reading order is less important.

 

5: Color Palette for your Design-

This stage is one of the key parts of an infographic, and the story told must be authentic or your visual will not achieve its intended effect. The stage sets the scene for the story and its elements should be easily identifiable for the target audience.

A color palette of three colors is a good rule. If you need more, add shades and tints of the ones you’re working with.

 

6: Proofread your Design Content-

Everyone makes mistakes, we’re only human. However, if you don’t check over your work and miss a glaring typo, you could look bad to the client.
